Pavitra Rishta actress Tanvi Thakker ties the knot with long-time beau Aditya Kapadia

Pavitra Rishta actress Tanvi Thakker took the plunge with her long-time boyfriend, Aditya Kapadia, on February 16. Just like Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor, Aditya and Tanvi too opted to have a court marriage. The couple were engaged for more than seven years before taking their relationship to next level.

Tanvi posted a few lovely pictures with her husband and together they looked amazing. Dressed in a lovely customised saree, Tanvi looked radiant, whereas Aditya wore an off white kurta-pyjama paired with matching jacket.

Speaking about their intimate wedding, Aditya told Times of India, “We have known each other for 10 years now, so getting married wasn’t new for us. We have been married to each other in our heart and mind for many years now. I am happy that we had a small low key wedding because I am a quiet person and get intimidated by crowds. It was a beautiful and sweet experience to exchange vows.”

Tanvi took to her Instagram handle to share a few pictures with Aditya. She captioned them as, “#foreverbeginsnow❤️ @aadityakapadia (sic).”

Sharing how the feeling of being married is yet to sink in, Tanvi told the daily, “When someone said, ‘Mr and Ms Kapadia’ I did not turn around. After a while, it sunk in, that I am officially married and now we are husband and wife. I am happy that I am married to someone who is my best friend for so many years.”

Aditya has featured in shows like Just Mohabbat, Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Code Red to name a few. Whereas Tanvi has shows like Yeh Ishq Haaye, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Sarvggun Sampanna, and Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and Pavitra Rishta to name a few.

The couple met on the sets of Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum and the rest, as they say, is history.
