Bigg Boss OTT 3’s Poulomi Das slams makers for not punishing violent contestants, says, “I’m still going to physiotherapy”

Bigg Boss OTT 3 began last month and has been making the headlines for several reasons. While the daily conflicts are expected, Armaan Malik slapping housemate Vishal Pandey grabbed the attention of all. While Armaan recently said he shouldn’t have raised his hands, BB OTT evicted contestant, Poulomi Das is wondering why the makers aren’t treating physical violence as a grave issue this season.

For those who do not know, during last week’s Weekend Ka Vaar, evicted contestant Payal Malik graced the stage and questioned Vishal Pandey for his comment on Kritika Malik. Unhappy with Vishal’s remark of finding his wife Kritika beautiful, Armaan Malik lost his cool and slapped Vishal while the other housemates attempted to keep them apart.

Commenting on this incident, and also facing violence first-hand in the house, Poulomi told Hindustan Times, “I genuinely believe that physical violence is not the answer. Even I myself got involved with physical violence (inside the house by a contestant). They (the makers) didn’t take any steps or (give any) punishment (to the person involved). I got pushed and I am still going to physiotherapy. It will take around 15 days for me to recover.”

For those wondering what Das is talking about, during her limited stay in the house, Poulomi accused Shivani of pushing her during a task. While this led to a confrontation between the two, no action was taken to punish the wrongdoer.

Further talking about the violence in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house, Poulomi Das added, “No one took a stand for it. To date, I am like I’m waiting for my answer. Why was it not addressed properly? I think Armaan should not have slapped Vishal. There should have been a verbal conversation to solve the matter. They both are adults. Physical violence should not be an answer.”
