Pratigya actor Ankit Gera ties the knot with Rashi Puri; says, ‘It’s an arranged marriage’

Popular TV actor Ankit Gera took everyone by surprise after he tied the knot with NRI Rashi Puri in a hush-hush wedding. Ankit has featured in shows like Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Agniphera. The news of his marriage came as a pleasant surprise for his fans and followers.

According to the ETimes report, Ankit tied the knot with Rashi on June 5 in Chandigarh. The couple opted to have an extremely intimate wedding with only 10 people in attendance.

Ankit is yet to share any pictures from his intimate wedding. Interestingly, the newlyweds’ makeup artist shared a splendid picture from their wedding. Congratulating the couple over their marriage, the makeup artist wrote, “Congratulations to both of you !! @ankitgera001 and rashi Di ..Thanks for keeping trust in us ❤️ and choosing us on ur wedding makeup artist. God bless u guys?? @ themainrp congratulations mere bhai❤️(sic).”

Speaking about his wedding, Ankit told ETimes, “It’s an arranged marriage. We are family friends. Our parents were looking for suitable partners for us and that’s when they suggested that we should talk. We started talking in April and soon developed a liking for each other. She flew down to India around three weeks ago before the wedding to meet me. Even though it was a short span, we got to know each other better and decided to take the plunge.”

The actor revealed that his wife is based in Nigeria. He even said that he was never in favour of lavish and extravagant weddings. We congratulate the couple on their wedding and wish them a blissful life ahead. Also, we hope, Ankit shares some inside pictures from his wedding soon.
