Preetika Chauhan granted bail by Mumbai Court after being arrested by NCB for possession of drugs

A few days back television actress Preetika Chauhan was caught red-handed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) while buying drugs. The actress was finally granted bail by Mumbai court on Thursday.

The NCB had arrested actress Preetika on the charges of buying and consuming drugs. According to a report by ANI, the actress was arrested alongwith an alleged drug peddler Faisal. They were caught with 99 grams of ganja in their possession.

Mumbai Zonal Unit of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested Preetika Chauhan and a person named Faisal on October 25. According to the latest reports, both Preetika and Faisal have been granted bail by the Mumbai court.

According to a report Times of India report, the court granted them bail on a personal bond of Rs 15,000. The court has even directed them to assist NCB’s investigation and attend their office for four Saturdays. Also, the actress succeeded in getting bail as the quantity of drug seized from her very less and the punishment is less than a year and it is triable by the magistrate court.

Coming back to Preetika, she has featured in shows like ‘CID’ and ‘Savdhaan India. She also has shows like’Jai Maa Vaishno Devi’, ‘Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman’ to her credit. She was last seen in ‘Santoshi Maa – Sunayein Vrat Kathayein’.
