EXCLUSIVE: Rahul Vaidya recalls first date with Disha Parmar, says, ‘I thought she was very weird’

Rahul Vaidya and his wife Disha Parmar are one of the most couples on television. Everyone had witnessed the simply beautiful love story of Disha and Rahul on Bigg Boss 14, but the Dishul fans have always been eager to know how it all began. We sat down an exclusive chat with Rahul and Vaidya for the first episode of Chemistry 101 Season 2 on Bollywood Bubble. The couple talked about their first date and it was not a conventional one, to say the least. But which romance is anyways!

Talking about how they met, Rahul said that they got to know about each other through Instagram. Rahul called his love story with Disha ‘a very today’s social media kinda love story’. He had come up with a song that was put up by one of their good friend Jitesh Pillai on his Instagram. Disha saw the song there and then she came on to Vaidya’s profile and left a comment. Then they started chatting from there.

Recalling his first date with Disha Parma, Rahul Vaidya said, “But the first time we met for a dinner ‘oh god’ I thought I was never going to sing,” But Disha intervened, ”I think you have a wrong story because I remember you did not like me that much. Utna bhi nai that jitna you tell.”

Rahul continued, “Ok probably I’ll correct myself, the first time probably I didn’t not like her. But in the second or third meeting I was like, ‘She is weird boss. She is really weird.’ But later I got to know that she had just lost her dad like three weeks ago. Which I didn’t know. She was just not herself ya so she was in a different zone.” Disha said, “I also agree to it that I was off at that time. I accept it.”
