Many are sharing how they are celebrating the occasion. Talking about the festival, the same is also known as Rakhi and its literal meaning is the bond of protection. On this pious day, sisters tie a sacred thread on their brother’s wrist and pray for their long life. Brothers in return promise to help and protect their sisters.

Many stars also revealed that they will be celebrating the festival virtually. TV actor Ishita Dutta, who will be seen next in an interview revealed that for her it is a double celebration for her as they will celebrate Rakhi as well as her mother’s birthday. On other hand, Rupali shared a cool selfie with her brother. She captioned the same as,” Phoolon ka Taaron ka. Sabka Kehna hai …. Ek hazaron mein, Mera Bhai hai, Saari Umar, Human sang rehna hai.”

Mrunal Jain, who featured in many serials such as Bandini, Hitler Didi & Uttaran told Indian express, “The fondest childhood memory is from school when a lot of girls wanted to tie rakhi to me and I was very shy and used to put bandage on my hand and say I have hurt myself. For the last few years Rashami Desai (actor) my mu-boli behen ties me rakhi. She is a very caring sister and like every year rakhi celebration will be a small, private but fun affair.”
