Rashami Desai sets the record straight on joining Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp

There have been a lot of conjectures around Rashami Desai joining the Kangana Ranaut show Lock Upp. Just recently, Chetan Hansraj joined the show as a wild card contestant, one also speculates if she will be joining in too. But it looks like that is not going to happen as Rashami has set the record straight on the same. The Dil Se Dil Tak actor released her official statement where she asked the media publications to verify the facts before writing about it.

While refuting the rumours of joining Lock Upp, the actor who was also seen in a similar show, named Bigg Boss 15 mentioned that she is working on some exciting things. She even asked the fans to stay tuned. The statement of Rashami read, “This is to set the record straight, that contrary to reports, I am not joining ‘LockUpp’ as a contestant. I have done a similar format show with Bigg Boss 15 and I am quite happy with my current commitments. But a full-time association to the show is not what I am currently looking at. Yes, if there is a guest appearance I am asked to make, I would love to do so for my fans. I would like if speculations around me joining ‘LockUpp’ are verified before being written about. But there are a lot of exciting things I am working on, so, stay tuned.”

Meanwhile, Rashami Desai has not announced her new venture yet but she was last seen in a single which was released on the occasion of Holi. She starred in a music single, titled Biraj Mein Jhoom which is vibrant and colourful just like the festival.
