When Rubina Dilaik decided to bid adieu to Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki fans were might disappointed. But now, her fans are jumping in happiness as she is back on the show. Yes, Rubina Dilaik is back on Shakti as Saumya. Rubina plays a transgender (kinnar) on Shakti, and has touched millions of hearts with her spine-chilling performance.

With her impactful acting and beautiful portrayal of their life, Rubina Dilaik has managed to break several stereotypes around the LGBTQ community. So, as everyone’s beloved Saumya aka Rubina Dilaik re-enters Shakti, the LGBTQ community has given her a special welcome. Yes! Rubina Dilaik received a ‘warm welcome’ from the LGBTQ community as she returned to the sets of Shakti.

The actress shared some heartwarming photos of her comeback celebrations with the LQBTQ community. They brought a special cake to welcome Rubina back on the show and shared some heartening moments. Rubina shared how touched she is with their gesture. In the photos, they all looked happy as they spoke their hearts out after so long. “And that’s how I was welcomed back on my show Shakti by the LGBT community,” a humbled Rubina expressed.

Rubina breathed life into the show and Saumya’s character. And now, she is back on a new journey. Saumya is now ready to tackle all the obstacles that come her way and is much more confident of her identity. With her, viewers will see a new Harman in Kasautii Zindagii Kay fame Cezanne Khan. Yes, Cezanne Khan has replaced Vivian Dsena as Harman in Shakti. Well, it would be interesting to see what new twists take place in Saumya and Harman’s lives now.

Shakti is known for highlighting important aspects of societal acceptance, inclusivity, biases among other prejudices that the LGBTQ community faces.
