Rubina Dilaik recalls being told she is ‘not fit for industry’ in the initial days of her career

Rubina Dilaik is one of the most loved actresses in the industry. Rubina’s journey has its ups and downs. The actress is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with Ardh. She has been busy promoting her debut film. In a recent interview, Rubina recalled her struggling days in TV. She revealed that she was told she is ‘not fit for the industry and must pack her bags’.

Speaking with News18, Rubina said, “I have been in this industry for 14 years and even for you, you could remember Choti Bahu, Bigg Boss, and Shakti. I have done six other shows in between these. I have beem told this time and again. I have seen that failure. I have seen that downside. I have seen my shows not working, I have seen people telling me that ‘you are not fit, you should pack yours bags and go.”

The actress added that her journey in the TV industry was no less than a roller-coaster ride. She said, “There have been times when I felt that it is just hopeless, it is not working for me. I think, 70% of the time, I have seen that dark side, a side full of failures and disheartening situations. Yes, I have seen that, I have been there. We all face such challenges and such roller-coasters in our lives.”

Rubina Dilaik has come a long way in her career. She is best known for portraying Radhika in Choti Bahu and Soumya Singh in Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. The actress also participated in Bigg Boss 14 and emerged as the winner of the show.

For the uninitiated, Rubina is all set to be a part of the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
