Rudra-Edge Of Darkness Trailer: Ajay Devgn looks menacing in the crime thriller

Bollywood’s Singham Ajay Devgn is all set to mark his digital debut with the upcoming crime thriller Rudra Edge Of Darkness. Helmed by Rajesh Mapuskar, this crime drama will see Devgn donning the avatar of a cop once again.

The actor took to Instagram to share the trailer of the edge of the seat thriller. The series is a dark narrative that delves into the psyche of criminals and the detective who is out to bring them down.

Sharing the trailer Ajay Devgn wrote, “Surrounded by darkness, I’m ready to bring justice to light! #HotstarSpecials #Rudra all episodes streaming from 4th March only on @disneyplushotstar #RudraOnHotstar #RudraTrailer”

The trailer opens with dialogue by Ajay Devgn, “Jo andharo mein chupta hai, main usse wahi milta hu.” As he introduces himself as ACP Rudra Veer, we catch a glimpse of him solving the crimes in unconventional ways.

The series is an Indian rendition of the globally successful British series, Luther. “I hope Rudra is better than the original“, says Ajay Devgn.

Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India, the series has been shot at the most iconic locales of Mumbai. It also features Raashi Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tarun Gahlot, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Satyadeep Misra in pivotal roles.

Rudra-The Edge of Darkness will be available on Disney+ Hotstar from 4th March 2022 in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali.
