Rupali Ganguly mourns the demise of her Anupamaa co-star Nitesh Pandey and Vaibhavi Upadhyaya

Rupali Ganguly mourned the demise of her Anupamaa co-star Nitesh Pandey and also expressed shock over Vaibhavi Upadhyaya’s sudden demise.

The entire TV industry is shocked. After Aditya Singh Rajput, the TV industry lost two more talented gems – Anupamaa actor Nitesh Pandey and Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya.

Nitesh Pandey, who was popularly known for playing Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj Kapadia’s best friend in Anupamaa, died due to cardiac arrest. On other other hand, Vaibhavi Upadhyaya died in a road accident. Rupali Ganguly remembered her Anupamaa co-star Nitesh Pandey with an emotional note. The actress also mourned the demise of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’s Vaibhavi.

Recalling her fond memories with Nitesh, Rupali said in a statement, “He was the only industry friend who stayed constantly in touch with me apart from Delnaaz and Sarabhais, during my sabbatical. He had even come to meet me after Rudransh was born. I can’t believe this! His son Aarav is just a few months older than Rudransh. He had messaged me last week about a painting he had made, we had plans to make our sons meet.”

The actress added, “We would bond over dogs. His wife Arpita is an animal care giver, feeder too like me. I am devastated! He was so so so fiercely protective about me. Even when he came to Anupamaa, it felt as if you have your bestie next to you at your work place. Just this month beginning, I had gone very late for a films get together and saw his car leaving, so I called him and said I saw you he said tu ruk main aata hoon gaadi ghumake, and I said no no ghar jaa aale hafte milte hai. Teen hafte hog aye uss baat ko and now I will never meet him.” Rupali further went on to add that she still can’t believe he is no more.

The actress also mourned the demise of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya. She took to her Instagram Stories and shared a photo of Vaibhavi. Rupali wrote, “Gone too soon Vaibhavi.”
