In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rytasha Rathore opened up about facing bodyshaming, people reaching out to her after the body positivity posts and a lot more.
Rytasha said, “I felt really worthless and shitty but luckily I became famous and people were like ‘wow, you are amazing’. I was like, ‘ye, I am amazing’. There is so much emphasis put on the way one looks. But beyond that what? There is so much to you as a person and honestly, I was never not so obsessed with my looks to begin with which is why even I let myself go to the extent I did. But, I am still not that looks obsessed. So, I have told people again and again and they also reached out to me and said I was right and it makes sense as why don’t we work on other things that we love about ourselves and develop a well-rounded personality, intellect, kind heart all of the things that are not to do with your aesthetic beauty.”
She added, “I hate beauty standards. It’s like a shame and horrible.”
