‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ promo: Devoleena Bhattacharjee is back as Gopi Bahu on popular demand

‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ had been making headlines these days as the question ‘Rasode Mein Kaun Tha’ has been ringing throughout the social media. Looks like ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ fans can’t get enough of the Gopi Bahu and Kokilaben’s relationship and so the cast is back with another season. Yes, the makers of the show have unveiled the promo of its second season. Devoleena Bhattacharjee will be reprising the role of Gopi Bahu.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee took to her Instagram handle to share the promo of ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’. The caption read, “We are back by popular demand ?#SaathNibhanaSaathiya2 #WhoisGehna #devoleena #gopibahu @starplus @rstfofficial(sic).”

In the video, Devoleena is seen wearing a gorgeous stylish pink sari. She is walking around the house and heads to the kitchen. Gopi Bahu is looking for someone called Gehna. In the background, a cooker whistles in the kitchen and she says, “Shayad rasode me Gehna ne cooker gas pe chadha dia hoga (Gehna has probably put the cooker on the gas).” She also added that Gehna does things that either surprise her or shock her.

Giaa Manek who initially played Gopi Bahu in the show opened up in an interview with ETimes that she was not approached for the second season. “I have lived the journey of Gopi bahu. Even when Devoleena joined the show as the new Gopi bahu, I never had any anger for her because, at the end of the day, everyone is doing their job. If not her, someone else would have done it. I don’t know much about the second season, but if they have cast Devoleena again, I am happy for her,” Giaa had said.

It is also said that Rupal Patel who played Kokilaben won’t be returning in the second season.
