Salman Khan CONFIRMS hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2 in new promo

Salman Khan and Bigg Boss have become synonymous since the actor took up hosting of the reality show’s fourth season. It has been over a decade since the actor has been the host of the controversial reality show. In 2021, Bigg Boss came up with its spin-off Bigg Boss OTT. The second season of the spin-off is set to arrive this year and Salman has now confirmed being a host for it too.

A new promo that has surfaced online sees Salman confirming that he will be hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2. In the promo, wearing a shiny silver jacket and a white t-shirt, Salman says, “Main leke aa raha hun Bigg Boss OTT to dekhta ja India.” The promo also makes it clear that the second season of the spin off version will stream on Jio Cinema.

Divya Agarwal won the first season

The first season of Bigg Boss’s spin-off version started streaming in 2021. It ran for over a month and Karan Johar turned host for it. Divya Agarwal emerged as the winner of the inaugural season beating choreographer Nishant Bhat. After the show, finalists Nishant, Pratik Sehajpal and Shamita Shetty received a direct entry to Bigg Boss 15. Pratik was the runner up that season with Tejasswi Prakash as the winner.

Apart from the Bigg Boss stint, Salman is currently at the ongoing IIFA Awards 2023. There at the press conference, he revealed wrapping up the shoot of Tiger 3. The YRF spy universe film will release theatrically this Diwali. Co-starring Katrina Kaif, the film will also feature a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan. While Salman has not announced any other film officially yet, there are a few projects that he is expected to start soon. It includes a film with Sooraj Barjatya and No Entry sequel.
