Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss OTT 3 will not happen this year- Reports

Bigg Boss is one reality show that people binge-watch whenever it airs. From the juicy gossip and romantic angles to their fights, fans love everything about Bigg Boss. It is also touted to be the most controversial show and it is said for all the right reasons. The last season, Bigg Boss 17 ended in January with Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner and taking home the trophy. With this, people expect Bigg Boss on OTT but it seems they have to wait for a year for season 3.

Bigg Boss OTT 3 not happening

According to a report in Indian Express, Bigg Boss OTT 3 will not happen this year and the reason behind is saturation. Reportedly, the makers of BB OTT 3 feel that the audience is facing ‘saturation’ and they want to reduce this over-exposure. Hence, the makers have decided to not bring BB OTT season 3 this year. However, discussions and conversations are still in the premature stage. As per the reports, there is no official confirmation from the production house Banijay Asia, Colors TV, or Jio Cinemas.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss OTT 2 was a hit among the audience as fans got to see some spicy content. From Jad Hadid and Akanksha Puri’s kiss to Elvish and Abhishek Malhan’s nasty fights, BB OTT 2 was a success. Bigg Boss OTT was started in 2021 during COVID and the first season was hosted by Karan Johar. Actor Divya Agarwal lifted the trophy for the first season. However, just like the TV version, Salman Khan took over the hosting duties for the second season. Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2.
