9 years after marriage, Sanjeeda Shaikh and Aamir Ali are officially divorced

Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh had been rumoured to be separated for over a year now. While there was no clarity on their split, the couple had time and again maintained that they wish the best for each other. Now, as per a report in Hindustan Times, the two have been officially divorced with the custody of their daughter with Shaikh.

A source close to the couple informed HT that its been around nine months since the divorce papers came through and have since then moved on in their respective lives.

Sanjeeda is currently living with her daughter at her paternal house. Both Aamir and Sanjeeda do not wish to give any official statement, as per a close friend. The couple are busy in their respective lives and have amicably part ways. While Sanjeeda decided to not respond to the query, Aamir wished Sanjeeda the best.

Aamir and Sanjeeda first tied the knot in 2012 after dating for two years. The two had been one of the most sought-after couples in Tellyville. However, in 2020, things were not well with them. While there is no clarity on the reason behind the split, it was revealed recently that they had a daughter together via surrogacy. The couple revealed the face of their child a few months back on social media.

On the work front, Aamir recently made his OTT debut while Sanjeeda has been busy with her work commitments as well.
