‘Sanjivani 2’ gets a new face as Chandni Bhagwanani replaces Rashmi Singh

Star Plus’s show ‘Sanjivani 2’ is quite a popular show amongst the audience. The medical drama has managed to garner a very avid following fan base. Now, the show will be seeing a new face as Chandni Bhagwanani will be replacing Rashmi Singh as the new Dr. Asha Kanwar.

As per a report by Times of India, Chandni, who was last seen on ‘Roop- Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’, will be joining the cast of ‘Sanjivani 2’ as the new Dr. Asha.

Talking about joining the show Chandni told the daily, “It is difficult to replace someone because people have already accepted him/her in that role. Though I love challenges, I am a bit nervous as I will be facing camera almost after a year and that, too, with a character, someone else has already established. However, I will not treat it as a replacement, and will approach it as a new character and will play it my own way.”

Chandani also admitted that she knows how disheartening being replaced is as she has been through the same lane as well. The actress went on to reveal that she herself was disheartened when she was replaced in ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’ and then in ‘Dream Girl’. However, she feels that it’s a part and parcel of this profession.

Chandani had even replaced Hansika Motwani in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Well, we look forward to Chandni taking up the role of a doctor in the show and we hope she does full justice to it.
