‘Sanjivani 2’s new musical promo is sure to turn you nostalgic – watch video

The popular medical drama ‘Sanjivani’ is set to make a comeback after 17 years. The new version stars Surbhi Chandna, Namit Khanna, Mohnish Bahl, Gurdeep Kohli, Sayantani Ghosh and Rohit Roy. Mohnish and Gurdeep played Dr. Shashank Gupta and Dr. Juhi Singh in the earlier ‘Sanjivani’ and they are reprising their roles in the new one.

The makers of ‘Sanjivani 2’ have dropped the trailer online today. The trailer begins with the entry of Dr. Shashank Gupta (Mohnish Bahl) who is greeted by everyone in the hospital. It then introduces us to Dr. Sid (Namit Khanna), who is seen taking a bribe and then helping a man in the hospital. Dr. Ishani (Surbhi Chandna) then catches him on camera taking the bribe. They are then shown conducting an operation with full co-operation. Later, when Dr. Sid wants to befriend Dr. Ishani, she refuses. Towards the end of the promo comes Dr. Vardhaan (Rohit Roy) and Dr. Anjali Gupta (Sayantani Ghosh).

The show is starting from August 12 at 7:30 pm on Star Plus.
