Sasural Simar Ka 2 fame Karan Sharma ties the knot with Pooja Singh in an intimate wedding- WATCH

Actor Karan Sharma who was a part of Sasural Simar Ka 2 got married to Diya Aur Baati Hum’s Pooja Singh in an intimate wedding. Though they have not shared the official pictures on social media yet, their friends and family have shared their varmala ceremony video. The two had a low-key wedding on March 30 and fans are now waiting for their first wedding pictures.

We just came across a video where Karan was seen planting a few kisses on Pooja after the varmala ceremony. Their close people even started cheering the newlyweds as they showered them with rose petals. They were brimming with joy as they got into this holy matrimony. For the wedding, Karan wore a beige colour sherwani and maroon turban. On the other hand, Pooja wore a rustic orange lehenga with heavily embellished work. She rounded her look with matching jewellery and they looked just perfect.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Pooja revealed her first meeting with Karan Sharma. He said, “It was quite unexpected. It seems quite dreamy as we both belong to the same industry and have been working for almost a decade but have never met. We both simultaneously worked with Rashami Sharma Productions and used to shoot in the same studio, but we never met.”

She further added, “Even during the pandemic, the cast of both shows were staying at the same hotel, but we never crossed paths. It was when a common friend made us meet, it is more of an arranged marriage set-up. It feels surreal and like we were destined to be together.”

Though fans await their wedding pictures on social media, they have been treating fans with inside glimpses of their pre-wedding festivities. Every celebration took place in their house and it was just about lovely. They shared videos of Haldi and Sangeet Ceremonies and both of them looked fun.
