The ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame actor Ashiesh Roy had been hospitalized after his health condition deteriorated earlier. He was in a heartbreaking situation where he asked his fans for financial help to pay the bills. Ashiesh has been part of many popular shows like ‘Remix’, ‘Banegi Apni Baat’, ‘Baa Bahu Aur Baby’, ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’, ‘Bymokesh Bakshi’ to name a few so it came as a shock when after having such a career he struggled to pay bills. Ashiesh recently opened up that he does not have a single penny left.
In an interview with Times of India, Ashiesh revealed that many of his friends from the Industry are coming forward to help him. “I am stuck here in the hospital since my birthday (May 18). Currently, there is COVID-19 situation all around and I am isolated in a room in the hospital. I am in a terrible condition.”
Ashiesh said that he has used up all his money to pay the hospital bills and now he has nothing left, “I don’t have money. I had Rs 2 lakh which I gave to the hospital because within two days, the bill that was given to me amounted to that much. Right now, I don’t have a single penny. People are coming forward to help me, they are calling up and telling me, let’s see what happens. Because of the pandemic I am kept in a special ward which is costly. My dialysis happens on some other floor and it goes on for 4 hours. There are medicines, injections which are costly.”
Ashiesh said that a lot of people are calling up but it is only hopeful if they are able to help him financially. He had suffered a paralytic stroke last year and even that time he had to be admitted. He is currently on dialysis and he does not think he will be cured. “With COVID-19 pandemic, it takes only two seconds to get infected. Within a week you all will get to know if I will be able to survive or not,” Ashiesh said.
