The second wave of COVID-19 in India has taken a drastic toll on the Television industry. Almost every day, one actor is testing positive for the novel Coronavirus. And now, in the latest, Manav Gohil has been diagnosed with the disease. Yes, Manav Gohil, who plays the lead role of KT in Shaadi Mubarak has tested COVID positive. A statement from the production house of Shaadi Mubarak confirms the news of Manav Gohil testing COVID positive.
The actor is in self-isolation and has quarantined himself. He is receiving proper medical attention from doctors. As soon as Manav tested COVID positive, the entire cast and crew of Shaadi Mubarak underwent tests as per protocol. The BMC is also informed about the same. The sets are being fumigated and sterilized as per COVID 19 rules.
“We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to,” said producers Shashi and Sumeet Mittal in an official statement.

Talking about the changes in the show’s story, a source told the Times of India, that the makers will work on parallel tracks. Though the makers are not stressed about Manav’s absence as they have a decent bank of episodes. But, a few parallel tracks during his absence will be worked out on, which will be of short time.
Last year in September, actress Rajeshwari Sachdev had tested COVID positive, bringing the shoot to a halt for a few days. She is no longer a part of Shaadi Mubarak, as she quit because her character did not shape well.
