Shaadi Mubarak: Rajeshwari Sachdev aka Kusum QUITS Manav Gohil and Rati Pandey starrer; Here’s Why

If there’s one person who caught massive attention during the Shaadi Mubarak premiere, it has to be Rajeshwari Sachdev aka Kusum Kothari. Yes, Rajeshwari as Kusum left everyone drooling with her comic timing in the show. Are you wondering why we’re talking about her suddenly? Well, as unfortunate as it may be, the actress has reportedly quit the show. Yes! Rajeshwari Sachdev aka Kusum has quit Shaadi Mubarak.

The latest report in the Times of India suggests that Rajeshwari Sachdev has quit Shaadi Mubarak. A source told TOI that Rajeshwari has quit the show as she was ‘not at all happy’ with her character’s track. The report states that Rajeshwari had tried to tell the makers about it several times. The source adds, “She has not been coming on the sets for the past month and has not been shooting. She was quite upset because of her character not shaping up the way it was told to her.”

Further talking about the track, the source shared that in Shaadi Mubarak, it is shown that Kushum has ovarian cancer and has gone abroad for treatment. This track is in itself a hint that Rajeshwari Sachdeva is not a part of Shaadi Mubarak anymore. But, the makers are not searching for her replacement yet.

When TOI reached out to Rajeshwari Sachdeva for the news of her quitting Shaadi Mubarak, the actress refrained from divulging details. “I have taken a break from the show for some time,” said Rajeshwari. The actress is celebrating her birthday and managing her son’s examination and online classes. Not only this, but Rajeshwari also shared that she has signed a new project for OTT.
