After Avinash Sachdev denied his relationship with Shafaq Naaz, she slammed him for lying and revealed that they dated for six months.

Avinash Sachdev was one of the most talked-about contestants of Bigg Boss OTT’s second season. He had grabbed attention for his bond with Falaq Naaz. In one of the episodes, Avinash had expressed his liking for her. At that time, it was said that Avinash Sachdev once dated Falaq’s sister Shafaq Naaz. However, after coming out of the house, in our interview with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash said that there’s no truth in the reports.

Now, Shafaq slammed Avinash for denying their relationship. She said that watching Avinash deny their relationship was ‘hurtful’.

Speaking with ETimes, Shafaq said, “Avinash should have respected the dignity of our relationship and not trivialised my feeling by lying. Being in a relationship is not something to feel ashamed of. Probably, he has dated many people, so our relationship may have slipped his mind, but I remember it clearly since it was my first serious relationship and heartbreak.”

Adding to that, Shafaq said that they started dating eleven years ago when they were shooting for their show, Tere Meri Love Stories.

Shafaq reveals Avinash ghosted her

Furthermore, Shafaq revealed that Avinash ghosted her. The actress shared, “He had just got out of a long relationship and we were together for about six months. Towards the end, when he stopped talking to me without any reason, I assumed he had reconciled with his ex. He ghosted me. Back then, social media wasn’t as active, making it easier to keep things under wraps. I can laugh about it today, but back then, it affected me.”

On the other hand, Falaq shared that she was unaware about Avinash and Shafaq’s relationship and only came to know about it after the show ended. Talking about her relationship status, Falaq said that she’s single.

Coming back to Avinash, he has dated Rubina Dilaik and Palak Purswani in the past. For the unversed, he was married to Shalmalee Desai. They tied the knot in 2015, and got divorced in 2017.
