Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai: Shaheer Sheikh and Mamta Sharma to recreate the magic of Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit

Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer Saajan (1991) hands down boasted of some of the most romantic and evergreen songs. And guess what? Our television heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh is all set to bring a recreated version of Saajan’s title song Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai. Joining him is the Munni Badnaam Hui fame singer Mamta Sharma. On Wednesday, Shaheer dropped a teaser of his upcoming music single. The handsome actor also expressed his excitement in featuring in the video of one of his personal favorite songs.

Unveiling the teaser of his upcoming music single Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai, Shaheer wrote, “Here’s the first glimpse of my next music video, a recreation of the beautiful song ‘Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai’?. A song that released 30years ago, gave ‘romance’ a whole new meaning at that time…and till today, it lives on in our hearts! ❤️ One of my personal favourites ?…Releasing on 5th August 2021(sic).”

The recreated version will feature Mamta Sharma alongside Shaheer. The new version is composed as well as penned by Ashraf Ali. The track will be out on August 5 and thanks to lovely teaser, the actor’s fans are already excited to watch the song.

The original track was crooned by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. It was one of the most loved tracks from the Sanjay and Madhuri starrer. It has to be seen if Shaheer and Mamta’s recreated version lives up to music lovers’ expectations. Until then, you guys stay tuned to this space.
