Shaheer Sheikh marries GF Ruchikaa Kapoor in a hush-hush wedding; actor says, “I’ve finally found the right companion”

A few days back we came across rumours of Shaheer Sheikh’s engagement to girlfriend Ruchikaa Kapoor. But much to everyone’s surprise, Shaheer and Ruchikaa are married! Yes, you read that right. Our handsome boy Shaheer is taken. And before you guys wonder when and how this happened, well let us inform you that this lovely couple tied the knot in a hush-hush wedding.

Owing to the pandemic, the couple opted for a court marriage and is now planning to have a big fat traditional wedding next year in June. The news of their marriage came as a pleasant surprise for their fans.

For the unversed, Ruchikaa is the creative producer and executive vice president at Balaji Motion Pictures. The couple met on the sets of ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. And rest as they say is history.

Speaking about their hush-hush wedding and finding love in Ruchikaa, Shaheer told Times of India, “Ruchikaa is honest when it comes to her feelings. The best part about our relationship is that we are friends first. Being an actor, I have to pretend in front of the camera all the time, but I have found a partner with whom I get to be myself. I’ve always said that I’m a ‘wanderer’ and I’ve finally found the right companion. I am looking forward to my never-ending travels with her.”

The same report also revealed that after their court marriage, the couple had a small ceremony at Shaheer house in Jammu. It was followed by another small ceremony at Ruchikaa’s house in Mumbai.

Speaking about her husband, Ruchikaa told TOI, “It is Shaheer’s simplicity and humility that drew me towards him. It’s rare to find someone who keeps it real and believes in the goodness of people. We come from different backgrounds, but instead of focusing on our differences, we chose to celebrate them. We may make little sense to the world, but we make a lot of sense to each other.”

Shaheer rose to fame with shows like ‘Mahabharat’, ‘Yeh Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke’, ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ to name a few. We wish the lovely couple a blissful life ahead.
