EXCLUSIVE: Shamita Shetty to marry Raqesh Bapat THIS YEAR? Actress reveals the truth

Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat made the internet go crazy with their romance and their fans can’t keep calm over the ShaRa moments. While Raqesh had also entered Bigg Boss 15 for his lady love Shamita, it was heartbreaking to see him leave over his health issues. However, Shamita made ShaRa fans jump out of their seats when she said that she will get married for sure this year. But will she? We sat down for an exclusive chat with Shamita and asked the actress about her journey in Bigg Boss away from Raqesh for so many months.

Shamita told Bollywood Bubble, “In the middle, I didn’t know if he was still my boyfriend, for four months I was in that house. I had to keep asking, ‘Is Raqesh still my boyfriend?’ I was so confused.” When asked what gave her that reassurance, Shamita said, “Mumma! In her VT told me ‘Raqesh loves you’. That is when I got a little relieved. Ok, he is still there, still waiting.”

Shetty further revealed that she wants to get to know Raqesh in the real world, “A lot changes, it has been three-four months. Who is going to wait for so long? But he was out there, supporting me, his sister was supporting me and I mean, he is a solid guy. So I am looking forward to getting to know him better. That world was very different, I want to know him in the real world.”

But coming back to her comment, Will we be seeing a ShaRa wedding this year? Shamita said, “Arey let me get to know him. All I said was I am getting married this year because I was putting the energies out into the universe and the universe has to manifest this for me, bus bohot ho gaya abhi. I put it out there to the universe. Yes, I do want to get married because I have been on my own way too long now and that is the one thing I thought about during covid. I wanted to be with someone. But Raqesh and I are getting to know each other and we need that time. It is the question of the rest of our lives together. Our souls connect for sure, so both of us are working towards a positive future.”

We also asked Shamita what qualities Raqesh has from her checklist in her dream man, “Integrity, there are many, he also has a calming effect on me. I like that. I do have a temper when I see something wrong happening, as you saw on the show. Yes, the one thing I would like is, I want to see if he takes a stand in the outer world. He says he is a different person in the outer world. I would like to see it. Because that for me is important, I like people who have an opinion.”
