Shantanu Maheshwari is one of the most talented stars in the industry. Over the years, Shantanu has been a part of many TV shows and movies. Apart from being known as a promising actor, he is also a fab dancer. Speaking of all that, Shantanu recently joined Bollywood Bubble for the latest episode of Men-Z. The actor opened up about choosing dancing as a career, his parents’ support towards it and if he ever faced scrutiny for the same. That’s not all, he also spoke about growing up in a joint family and dealing with trolls.
Shantanu talks about facing scrutiny for dancing
When asked if he ever faced any derogatory remarks for his dancing, Shantanu said, “I never faced that. Thankfully, I never faced that. I think I’ve come from Kolkata, so Kolkata is any which ways very rich in literature and art by default. So, they never have this thing ke ‘ladki jaise dance kar raha hai aise kuch’ (You dance like a girl). They are very appreciative about art and culture and so are my parents. They never thought like that. In fact, my father for the longest time wanted and still wants at times that I should be doing classical dancing. I am not a trained dancer. I am self-trained, self-taught.”
Shantanu talks about dealing with trolls
On the other hand, we have often seen actors getting trolled multiple times. When asked how he deals with trolls, Shantanu said, “I’ve never been trolled trolled as such. So, that has never happened. So, the well-wishers or people who like my work or who follow me or however you want to say it. They have been kind. I think they are intelligent and smart people who understand what I’m going through because they understand me as a person more than anything.”
Furthermore, Shantanu also gave his take on relationships, and revealed why Shah Rukh Khan is the man of all generations.
