Sheezan Khan granted bail by Vasai court in Tunisha Sharma death case

Actor Sheezan Khan has been lodged in jail since Tunisha Sharma’s suicide last year. The actor had been granted bail on Saturday by the Vasai court in the Tunisha Sharma suicide case. The bail was granted by District and additional sessions Judge R D Deshpande.

Sheezan was arrested for abetment of the suicide of his former girlfriend Tunisha Sharma. The Vasai court on Saturday granted bail to the actor on a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh on Saturday. He is also asked to submit his passport and also asked not to tamper with the evidence as per the ANI report.

As soon as Sheezan was granted bail his sister took to Instagram stories and wrote,‘Ahumdullilah’ which means “praise be to God”.

Ever since the actor has been arrested his sisters voiced their support for their brother. In January, Falaq shared a picture with him and wrote that she is always there to support her younger brother.

Sheezan Khan was arrested on December 25, a day after Tunisha Sharma’s allegedly died by suicide. He had applied for bail on January 19 but was rejected by the court. The actor had once again applied for bail on February 20. The argument for the bail plea concluded on Thursday.

For the unversed, Tunisha Sharma allegedly hanged herself on the sets of her TV show Ali Baba: Daastan-e- Kabul which also starred Sheezan Khan. She was apparently in a relationship with Sheezan. Post her death, her mother blamed the actor for her daughter’s death. Sheezan was arrested on the charge of abetment to suicide.
