Shehnaaz Gill leaves the crowd emotional as she dedicates her award to Sidharth Shukla

Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla, aka Sidnaaz, became one of the most loved couples on Indian television right from their stint on Bigg Boss 13. The duo won over the audience with their playful chemistry, their banter and the innocence that their equation had. Neither Shehnaaz Gill nor Sidharth Shukla ever came on record to say that their relationship was romantic, but their equation was indeed something different and the whole nation just connected to them. Thus, it was a complete shock for everyone when Sidharth suddenly passed away last year. Shehnaaz was also left quite broken after the incident but she has been handling everything quite strongly since.

Recently, the actress-singer was honoured at an award show in Dubai and during her acceptance speech, Shehnaaz dedicated her win to Sidharth, leaving everyone in the crowd quite emotional. She said, “Thank you meri life mein aane ke liye aur itna mere pe invest kiya ki aaj main yahaan par pahuch gayi hun. Siddharth Shukla, this is for you.”

The actress looked quite spectacular in her black gown and her transformation ever since she came out of the Bigg Boss house has been quite amazing. Earlier, Shehnaaz had released a song in Siddharth’s memory titled Tu Yaheen Hai, where she reminisced about her memories with him and how he will always be with her.

In an earlier conversation with Bollywood Bubble too, Shehnaaz had opened up on dealing with Sidharth’s loss as she had said, “Main aur strong ho gayi hun. Bahut strong hun main, I am prepared for everything now. So, main prepared hun apni aane wali life mein bhi. Jo bhi hoga ache ke liye hoga. It’s okay, bura hoga to acha to hoga hi hoga. (I have become stronger. I am very strong and I am prepared for everything now. I am prepared for what’s to happen in my life. Whatever will happen, it will be for good. If something bad happens, something good has to follow it too.)”

Professionally, Shehnaaz has been maintaining a balance between her singing and acting careers. Last year she was seen in the Punjabi film Honsla Rakh with Diljit Dosanjh, and now she is all set to make her Bollywood debut soon with Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and then has Sajid Khan’s 100 Percent with John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh and Nora Fatehi.
