Shehnaaz Gill to resume shooting for Diljit Dosanjh’s Honsla Rakh post Sidharth Shukla’s demise? Deets inside

Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise on September 2 had sent shockwaves across the nation. He was 40. Apart from his family and fans, the one who is deeply affected is Shehnaaz Gill. We all know what kind of bond Sidharth and Shehnaaz shared since their stints in Bigg Boss 13. They were popularly called ‘SidNaaz’, a term coined by their fans during the show.

Shehnaaz is making her feature film debut with Diljit Dosanjh’s film Honsla Rakh. Most of the shoot was done in Canada during the pandemic. She was to shoot for a song in the movie but the sudden death of the Bigg Boss 13 winner had put Shehnaaz’s work commitments to a halt.

Honsla Rakh movie producer Diljit Thind told ETimes that they are waiting for Shehnaaz to “recover and heal from the grave loss”. He added, “We had originally planned to shoot the song on September 15 in London, but that couldn’t happen because of obvious reasons. We will finalise a new date soon and would want Shehnaaz to be a part of it, too, as she is an integral part of the film. I am in touch with her manager and hoping that she will contact us in a few days”.

Shehnaaz is currently grief-stricken but life has to go on. We hope she comes out of it soon and resumes her works. Shehnaaz and Sidharth appeared together in Dance Dewwane 3 and Bigg Boss OTT just a week before the latter’s death.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal and other contestants like Neha Bhasin, Shamita Shetty, and others have mourned the death of Shukla.
