Shivangi Joshi slams a report for misquoting her as she announces her next association with Mohsin Khan

Actor Shivangi Joshi who has become a household ever since she essayed the role of Naira in the hit show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata is one of the leading ladies in the Telly world. After playing the role for almost 5 years, Shivangi has now moved to the next show, Balika Vadhu 2 where she plays the role of the grown-up Anandi. Even though she has moved on, Shivangi has always considered YRKKH close to heart and has always mentioned that in several interviews. In fact, after bidding farewell to the show, she even penned a heartfelt note on the same.

However, in an interview, Shivangi was quoted by a portal that it was hard for her to move on from Mohsin Khan but she actually meant for her character. Now, slamming the publication for misquoting her, she took to her Instagram stories and explained what she actually meant. Joshi wrote, “The recent article about me has been misleading in many ways. A lot has been mentioned in the article but in an unorganised manner which has changed the totality of the news article and has been duly picked up and again misquoted by various media reports.”

She even added that there’s a collaboration with her Yeh Rishta co-star Mohsin Khan which will come out soon. She wrote, “Just want to say everything is good and happy in my life and for all Kiara fans, here’s announcing Mohsin and my next association very very soon… so stay tuned everyone.”

In another post, Shivangi once again cleared the confusion and added, “I said it’s hard to ‘move on’ from my then character Naira. I said, ‘Time kaam milta hai toh mil nahi paate’ for the team of Yeh Rishta and again not for anyone specific. I said about relationships and breakups in general when I was asked and once again it was not for any specific.”
