Currently, actress Shweta Tiwari is in Cape Town where she is participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi. But she is a doting mother who makes sure to be in touch with her children right now virtually. The monsoon has started in Mumbai and it’s raining cats and dogs so to experience the monsoon magic Palak and Reyansh decided to drench in the rain. Shweta took to her Instagram story and shared a few photos from the video call she had with Palak and Reyansh.
In the photos, both of them are drenched in rain and enjoying a playful time together. While in the second photo, Reyansh is seen sticking his tongue out and Shweta captioned the photo as “Happy Rainy Day”.
Meanwhile, during Father’s Day 2021, Palak took to her Instagram story and shared a photo of Shweta and Reyansh with a heartfelt message. She stated, “Thank you for raising us correctly and teaching us not just by preaching but through example what true strength is. Thank you for never letting the negativity get to you. You’re my everything. You’re the best parent in the whole world and we are so blessed to have you.”
Meanwhile, Abhinav Kohli took to Instagram to post a video of himself where he is seen accusing Shweta of not letting him meet their son, Reyansh. He says, “Today is Father’s Day. I won’t be able to meet my kid today either. Even last year I couldn’t meet him. I tried hard but I have lost this fight. Shweta will return tomorrow or day after. When she left him and he was alone for one and a half months, I tried everything but couldn’t meet him.”
Shweta Tiwari married Raja Chaudhary in 1998. They welcomed their first child Palak in 2000. After 9 years of marriage, Shweta filed for divorce in 2007 citing domestic abuse. After dating for a few years, the actress then married her co-star Abhinav Kohli in 2013. The couple welcomed their first child, Reyansh, in 2016. In 2017, Shweta filed a complaint of domestic violence against Abhinav following which he was taken into police custody. The duo separated in 2019.
