Siddarth Gupta: I want to celebrate Sushant Singh Rajput but people take whatever you say out of context and distort it

Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend, Siddarth Gupta shared a close bond with the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor. There was a time when they lived together and were closest buddies. We recently had an interaction with Siddarth and when asked about Sushant, he said that he would refrain from speaking about the late actor.

Siddarth said, “I would love to speak about him but would refrain right now from speaking about him for obvious reasons. I hope you understand. I want to celebrate him but people take your love for him or whatever you say, out of context and they will distort it and then put it against you. Right now, I also feel that it is not the right time. I would rather do it later or talk about it may be some other time.”

When asked how he maintains the composure and not let himself get influenced by the glamour, he said, “It has a lot to do as how you are brought up. Also, like people say ‘failure is a great success’, I have faced a lot of lows also but that has really humbled me in life and I really believe in optimising by consciousness and embracing whatever is around me and whatever is happening. As a human species, our biggest shortcoming is that we think we are going to live forever and our biggest pursuit is we want to be remembered forever. All of that is fictional. Nothing is going to happen. Nobody will remember us, so by the time we are here, I want to live in the present, want to be humble about things, be nice to people, be there for them and I genuinely feel that it’s a scientific fact that gratitude reciprocates. What I have seen in life and what I have faced that has put me where I am today as a person. Eventually, success and failure are inevitable”.
