Sidharth Shukla always wanted me to be happy: Shehnaaz Gill’s response to trolls is winning hearts

Shehnaaz Gill is one of the most popular names in the television sector. Gill rose to fame with Salman Khan hosted the reality show Bigg Boss season 13. Her fans also loved her chemistry with Sidharth Shukla whom she met inside the BB house and fans lovingly called them #SidNaaz. However, Shukla’s untimely demise left everyone heartbroken and in shock including Shehnaaz Gill.

Now, the Punjabi singer is all set to grace Shilpa Shetty’s upcoming chat show Shape Of You, on Filmy Mirchi, Shehnaaz decided to give an answer to trolls who have shamed her online for being ‘happy’ in her pictures and videos, months after alleged beau Sidharth Shukla’s death. The actress said: “Sidharth mujhe hamesha haste hue dekhna chahta tha. (Sidharth always wanted to see me happy.)”

In the trailer, Shehnaaz is also seen showing off her dance moves and talking about flaunting her figure with ‘thumkas’. “Agar hum thumke na maare toh wo figure kis kaam ka? (What is the use of having a good figure if we don’t use it to dance?)”

Apart from Gill, the Shape Of You trailer also featured Shilpa Shetty’s sister Shamita Shetty, Rakul Preet Singh, Masaba Gupta, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. The show will stream on Filmy Mirchi from March 11.

Meanwhile, on the grand finale of Bigg Boss 15, Shehnaaz Gill had given a special tribute performance to Sidharth Shukla. This is the first time, the actress came to the sets of Bigg Boss after Sidharth Shukla’s demise. Shehnaaz was last seen in the 2021 film Honsla Rakh alongside Dilijit Dosanjh. Her performance in the movie got her appreciation from fans.
