Sidharth Shukla was one of the most loved and talented actors in the industry. Today, i.e. 12^th December marks his birth anniversary. As many know, Shehnaaz shared a close bond with Sidharth. The duo first met on the sets of the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 13. They shared a good bond even after the reality show ended. The Badrinath Ki Dulhania actor passed away at the age of 40 in 2021 due to cardiac arrest. His death shocked the entire nation including Shehnaaz who had a difficult time dealing with his loss. When Shehnaaz Gill remembered Sidharth Shukla

On being judged for writing a song for him: Post Sidharth’s death, Shehnaaz paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor with the song Tu Yaheen Hai. While some showed their support, there was a section of netizens who trolled her for it. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shehnaaz was asked if people’s judgement on her song made her feel bad. The actress said, “Nahi, kyunki logon ko story pata hi nahi hai kuch, toh log kaise mujhe bol sakte hain. See, kya hota hai na, kisi bande ki tum bahut zyada respect karte ho, toh mujhe kaam start karna tha dobara se apna, comeback karna tha. (No, because they don’t know my story, so then how will they say anything about it? So, what happens is, when you respect a person, and I wanted to start my start once again, and make a comeback).”

She added, “Toh, abhi tum jiske sabse zyada respect karte ho, agar tum uske liye kuch nahi karoge pehle, khud ke mann mein na, tumhara kaam kaise start hoga? Toh pehle respect and then start your work. (So, when you respect someone a lot, if you don’t do anything for them, then how will you start your work? So, first give respect and then start your work.”

Shehnaaz on dealing with the grief of losing Sidharth: The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actress said, “Main aur strong ho gayi hun. Bahut strong hun main, I am prepared for everything now. So, main prepared hu apni aani wali life mein bhi. Jo bhi hoga ache ke kiye hoga. It’s okay, bura hoga toh acha toh hoga hi hoga. (See, I have become stronger. I am very strong and I am prepared for everything now. I am prepared for what’s to happen in my life. Whatever will happen, it will be for good. If something bad happens, something good has to follow it too).”

Shehnaaz on the sweetest thing she did for anybody: The Thank You For Coming actress was once asked to reveal the sweetest thing she did for anybody and Shehnaaz said, “Meri toh jug jaahir hai (It’s an open secret).” The actress didn’t say the name, but she referred to the connection she shared with the late actor.

Shehnaaz on her marriage plans post Sidharth Shukla: Shehnaaz, who was reportedly dating Sidharth, was asked if she would marry an actor and she responded saying, “Mujhe nahi pata. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai. Never say never. Mere life mein kuch bhi ho sakta hai aag jaake. Toh main ye nahi bol sakti ki meri actor ke saath shaadi, mera pati aisa hoga. Jaisa bhi hoga, acha hona chahiye. (I don’t know anything can happen. Never say never. I can’t say that I will get married to an actor only or something like that. Life has been unpredictable to me, so anything can happen. I can’t say I will marry an actor or my husband should be like this. He should be nice).”
