Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta reveal the name of their newborn daughter

Television couple Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta welcomed their first child, a baby girl on April 15. The couple has now revealed the name of their daughter. Sharing a picture of herself lying on a bed with ner newborn and Gautam beside her, Smriti wrote, “Anayka ❤️? #family #FirstFamilyPic #DaddysGirl”(sic). Yes, Smriti and Gautam have named their little princess ‘Anayka’.

Both the mom-dad were all smiles as they posed for the camera with their newborn.

Smriti revealed the first picture of her daughter on her Instagram a few days back. She captioned the pic, “Our princess has arrived ? 15.04.2020(sic)”.

Earlier, we spoke to Smriti and asked how it feels like having a child amid this pandemic lockdown. She said, “There was no much information about pregnant women and coronavirus. That was causing anxiety which is not good at this time. I was trying to keep myself calm. When the lockdown happened, I was a little relieved in fact. So in that way, we are in a safer environment now but still, I am thinking of what will happen after April 14.”

After the baby was born, in an interview with Times of India, Gautam shared the experience of how they managed during the lockdown. He said,  “We had taken every precaution during Smriti’s pregnancy, and now the baby is here, we will be very careful”.
