Smriti Khanna-Gautam Gupta show gratitude towards doctors for being available for their baby birth amidst Covid-19 lockdown

‘Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’ fame actress Smriti Khanna and hubby Gautam Gupta recently welcomed a baby girl. Having a child amidst the lockdown must have been really daunting but the medical professionals have been doing their best at this time. Smriti and Gautam expressed their gratitude towards the doctors for their assistance at this time.

In an interview with Times of India, Gautam spoke about how all the doctors have been helpful. “There were many false alarms and we would panic, but the doctors were always one phone call away. A doctor also came every week to teach us how to take care of the baby,” shared Gautam.

Earlier, speaking about his wife and newborn daughter, the actor had shared, “We stay at Juhu and the hospital is in Khar. We drove alone in the car amidst the lockdown and safely reached the hospital. I am happy that everything is safe and good, especially when the country is going through a lockdown.”
