Sonakshi Sinha took to Instagram and treated fans with the poster of Dahaad. The actress looks fierce as a cop.

The release date of Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma starrer thriller web series Dahaad is out. The makers of Dahaad shared a poster on Thursday featuring Sonakshi Sinha. Sonakshi will be seen playing the role of a fierce cop, Anjali Bhaati in Dahaad.

The poster shows Sonakshi in her police uniform. Her intense gaze will leave you anticipating for the web series. Sonakshi too shared the poster on her Instagram and wrote, “only a powerful roar can uncover the truth #DahaadOnPrime, New Series, May 12.”

Dahaad revolves around a sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati (played by Sonakshi Sinha). She is tasked to carry out an investigation after a series of women are found dead in public bathrooms. At first, the deaths appear to be clear-cut suicides but as the cases unravel, Anjali begins to suspect that a serial killer is involved. Sonakshi then tries to find evidence before another woman loses her life.

Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, Dahaad stars Sonakshi, Vijay, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah.

In February this year, Dahaad became the first Indian series to premiere at the 2023 edition of the Berlinale International Film Festival. Sonakshi shared photos from the event on Instagram with the caption, “WHAT and experience and SO many firsts… my first time working with this incredible bunch of people, my first time at a film festival and of course my first series!
