EXCLUSIVE: Sourabh Raaj Jain recalls when he used his onscreen Krishna image in front of a cop

Actor Sourabh Raaj Jain, became a household name after he played Lord Krishna in mythological TV serial, Mahabharata. Though he appeared in other shows, he became popular with this show. Recently, we sat with Sourabh for a fun conversation Never Have I Ever where he revealed how he got out of a tricky situation using his onscreen image. He also revealed the pranks he pulled off on co-star Pooja Sharma, farting in public, giving fake numbers and much more.

Elaborating more on using his image, the actor said, “Once I was driving and then red light cross ho jata hai. Toh phir ek police officer ne pakda. Galti mere thi, mujhe pata hai and just to come out of the situation, maine bola, ‘Sir, aapne Mahabharat dekha hai?’ (he laughs) I played Krishna, toh maaf kar do’. He said, ‘ok’.”

In the segment, he also said that he has never been cheated on and added that he has a blessed love life. He got married to Ridhima Jain in November 2010. He often shares loved-up pics with his wife on Instagram.

Sourabh Jain also appeared in shows like Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev and Lord Shiva in Mahakali. He was also one of the contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.
