Actress Sudha Chandran is bereaved of her father KD Chandna, who passed away yesterday (May 16) morning due to multiple organ failure. Sudha Chandran is mourning the demise of his father KD Chandran. In a recent chat with the Times of India, Sudha opened up that her late father KD Chandran was a patient of Dementia. Three or four days ago, KD Chandran had a very high temperature, but his COVID tests were negative.

“It was a multi-organ failure. He was also a diabetic patient. And he was 86 year old, so one after the other his organs started collapsing,” Sudha ji mentioned. Opening up about her bond with her late father, Sudha Chandran said that he was a normal father to her. KD Chandran helped her to come out of her struggles and convert her failures into successes. “Today I see myself as a replica of him because he was also a go-getter and a fighter. He always taught me to never give up on things,” she expressed.

The actress added that she was fortunate to have strong parents in life. She remembered that her mother’s passing away in 2004 was a big blow for her. I still remember when I met with an accident and the amputation had to take place, he came to me and held my hand and said don’t worry ‘I shall be the leg that you have lost.’ Today, my success story I owe it to my parents,” Sudha ji shared.

Sudha Chandran is proud of her late father KD Chandran’s line of work as an actor and cultural activist. “He was brilliant in all his films be it China Gate, Shararat, Koi Mill Gaya or Tere Mere Sapne,” she said. The actress has been receiving tribute calls and messages for her late father. While she expected a call from Mahesh Bhatt, she shared that she has not received one yet. “Probably, he must not be having my number but I haven’t got any call or message from him so far,” she signed off.
