Sugandha Mishra, Sanket Bhosale get into trouble; FIR lodged against them for flouting COVID norms at wedding

Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale have just started enjoying their ‘happy married life.’ But, in a shocking turn of events, the newlyweds have fallen into legal trouble. Reportedly, an FIR has been registered against Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale and for flouting COVID norms at her wedding. Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale tied the knot on April 26 in Punjab amid the COVID crisis. The couple exchanged wedding vows in the presence of their parents.

However, new reports suggest that Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale has been charged for allegedly violating COVID rules at the wedding. As per a report in the Times of India, a case was lodged against Sugandha Mishra, the bridegroom’s side, the owner of the resort and participants of the marriage. The manager of Club Cabana resort, where the function was held, has also been booked.

The FIR was lodged after a video of Suket’s wedding went viral, which showed a large gathering of people at the wedding venue. Deputy Superintendent of Police Paramjit Singh said, that it violated COVID-19 norms. A case has been registered under Section 188 of the IPC (Indian Penal Code). Mr Paramjit Singh informed that the case is pertaining to disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant and relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act.

The DSP further revealed that no arrest has yet been made and the investigation is still on. Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale are yet to comment on the matter. While Sugandha hails from Jalandhar, Sanket belongs to Maharashtra. The couple is settled in Mumbai post marriage.

During a chat with Bollywood Bubble, before marriage, Sanket had told us, “We’re keeping it low-key. Being a doctor, I don’t want any kind of crowding there, and thus the guest list is also small. I’m thinking to keep it less than the Government norms. All the guests will be tested pre-hand, and safety measures have been taken care of at the wedding.”
