Sumona Chakravarti: Whether women wear bikinis or pants or sarees, it’s none of your goddamn business

Sumona Chakravarti has been one of the most popular names when it comes to comedy shows on Indian television. She has been killing it with her funny one-liners and superb comedy acts in shows like ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Even though she plays a very homely housewife on her comedy shows, she is quite fashionable and hep when it comes to her social media pages, and why shouldn’t she be?

However, when she gets trolled for her posts and pictures on social media, she definitely feels bad. Today, on the occasion of Women’s Day, the pretty lady decided to give it back to all the detractors with a fantastic swimsuit picture and also put the record straight with her trolls. The pretty actress wrote an open letter to all her haters. Here’s what she had to say:

Now u will say why am i wearing a swimsuit? Why am i not covered?
Listen up –
What we wear or don’t wear,
What we do or don’t,
Whether we drink or smoke,
Wear pants, bikini or a saree,
Whether we’re working women or not,
Whether we choose to have children or not,
Whether we choose to marry or not,
IS NONE OF YOUR GODDAMN BUSINESS.
Go enrich your life n the ones around you.
Stop with those judgemental, stereotypical, chauvinistic behaviour ? ✋? That’l be enough for us. ??
