Sumona Chakravarti refutes wedding rumours with Samrat Mukerji

Sumona Chakravarti, who was last seen in The Kapil Sharma Show, has been making headlines because of her rumoured wedding with Samrat Mukerji, who is a cousin of Rani Mukerji and Kajol. In a recent interview, Sumona has rubbished the wedding rumours.

Speaking with ETimes, Sumona said, “Oh God! These are 10-year-old stories from social media. This is rubbish.” She added, “Frankly, no comments. I don’t like to talk about my personal life. If there’s any development, you will all get to know about it. I shall announce it.”

When asked the actress if Samrat is a part of her life, Sumona said, “He’s a friend. That’s about it. I don’t speak to the media about my friends or family and I want to keep it that way.” Furthermore, when asked her if marriage is on the cards, she said, “I think I have answered your question.”

A couple of days ago, Sumona shared photos from TKSS’s wrap-up party. In the photos, she can be seen posing with her fellow TKSS stars including Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Kapil Sharma. She captioned the pics, “N it’s a WRAP! Phir milenge ek chote se break ke baad… #TKSS.”

She is very active on social media. From sharing selfies, BTS clicks from sets, jaw-dropping photoshoot pics, Sumona regularly updates her Instagram and gives fans a glimpse into her personal, as well as professional life.

Sumona is one of the most popular stars. She began her acting career at the age of 11 through Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala starrer Mann. The actress is well known for her roles in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show.
