Sunil Grover talks about his characters ‘Gutthi’ and ‘Dr Gulati’
When asked about the characters he has played so far, Sunil said, “Mujhe bhi bohot acha lagta hai (Gutthi) because waha se mujhe ek mass recognition mili. Par drama mein karta tha school mein toh waha pe kuch favourite characters the. Phir radio pe jisme Sud karta tha, bada acha lagta tha bolna. Phir Lallan karke ek character tha bohot pehle, usko karne mein bada maza aata tha. (Even I liked the character (Gutthi) because of that I got a mass recognition. But I used to do drama in school so I had favourite characters there as well. Then I did Radio and I used to play the character Sud, and I used to like that. Then there was a character called Lallan, it was a lot of fun to do it).”

Sunil added, “Maine abhi Sonu play kia, isme bohot mein enjoy kia. Baaki bohot saare characters ko logon ne pyaar diya hai jaise Gutthi hai. Kahi log Mashoor Gulati bolte hai so mujhe bada acha lagta hai. Mujhe Sonu ka karke bohot maza aya kyunki ek fictional story setup hai iske andar. Yeh character likha bhi sundar hai aur aap usko kar bhi sakte ho. Kaafi shades hai usko karne ke liye. Toh isko play karne mein bada maza aata hai. (I played Sonu, and I enjoyed it. People have given love to many characters like Gutthi. Sometimes people call me Mashoor Gulati, so I like it very much. I enjoyed playing Sonu a lot because there is a fictional story setup in it. The character is beautifully written. There are enough shades to do that. So, it was a lot of fun to play it).”
