Veteran actress Vidya Sinha left for the heavenly abode today in CritiCare Hospital, Juhu at around 1 pm. She was suffering from lung and cardiac disorders and was admitted to the hospital last week when she complained of breathing problem. The actress was put on the ventilator and was under observation. She was 71 at the time of death.
She was a known face in both television and Bollywood industry. She appeared in popular TV shows like ‘Kkavyanjali’, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ and ‘Qubool Hai’ among others. Surbhi Jyoti, who was Vidya Sinha’s co-star in ‘Qubool Hai’ is heartbroken to hear the news.
While expressing her feelings to SpotboyE, Surbhi said, “This is really heartbreaking for me. I have worked with her in ‘Qubool Hai’ and we were quite close. We lost connect after the show as everyone gets busy in their own world. I remember on the sets she was so motherly and everybody was so fond of her. She was a brilliant cook and I still remember that once she got some yummy mirchi ka pakoda for me. After that, I made sure that she gets it for me every now and then. I still can’t accept that she is not with us anymore. She was a lovely woman. May her soul rest in peace.”
