Sushmita Sen has always been extremely welcoming to me: Charu Asopa on her bond with estranged husband Rajeev Sen’s sister

Charu Asopa’s personal life is currently making headlines. The actress recently opened up about her marriage with Rajeev Sen. Both Rajeev and Charu made shocking revelations. While Rajeev accused Charu of hiding her first marriage, she claimed he was aware of it. Amid this, Charu Asopa has now opened up about her bond with Rajeev’s sister, actress Sushmita Sen. Charu Asopa called her sister-in-law Sushmita Sen a ‘wonderful person’.

Speaking with ETimes, Charu said, “Sushmita didi is a wonderful person inside out – she is a wonderful actor and an even better human being.”

The actress added, “She has always been extremely welcoming to me since the beginning and I will always cherish the bond she and I share. Few bonds are meant to be cherished for life and my relationship with her is one of love adulation and immense respect.”

On the other hand, Lalit Modi recently revealed he is dating Sushmita Sen. He had shared photos with her on Instagram and captioned, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families – not to mention my #better looking partner @sushmitasen47 –  a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon. In love does not mean marriage YET BUT ONE THAT BY GODS GRACE WILL HAPPEN. I JUST ANNOUNCED THAT WE ARE TOGETHER.”

Post the announcement, Sushmita was trolled and called a ‘gold digger’. The actress gave it back to the trolls by sharing a picture of herself and also penned a long note. A part of it reads, “I dig deeper than Gold… and I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds!! And yes I still buy them myself!! I love the all heart support my well wishers & loved ones continue to extrend. Please know, your Sush is ABSOLUTELY fine… cause I’ve never lived on the transient borrowed light of approval and applause.”
