Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Ghanashyam Nayak aka Natukaka passes away

Veteran Gujarati actor Ghanshyam Nayak is no more. The actor passed away on Sunday, October 3. The veteran actor was popularly known for playing the role of Natukaka on the show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, The actor was immensely loved for his comic timing and acting skills. The news about Nayak’s demise was shared by a paparazzo. The paparazzo shared a picture of Ghanshyam Nayak and informed everyone about the sad news via a post on Instagram. Many celebrities took to the comments section of the post to condole the death of the actor.

TMKOC producer Asit Modi made a tweet on Twitter and informed everyone about the news. The producer tweeted in Hindi, “Hamare pyaare #Natukaka @TMKOC_NTF hamare saath nahi rahe परम कृपालु परमेश्वर उन्हें अपने चरणो में स्थान दे और परम शांति दे उनके परिवार को ये दुःख सहन करने की शक्ति दे #नटुकाका हम आपको नहीं भूल सकते @TMKOC_NTF (sic) ( Our Natukaka is no more with us. May the most merciful God place him at his feet and give him the ultimate peace give strength to his family to bear this sorrow #Natukaka we can’t forget you.)”

Reacting to the post made by the paparazzo, Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal made a comment. She wrote, “RIP,” and expressed her sadness. Several others offered condolences to the actor’s bereaved family.

Tanmay Vekeria, who plays Bagga in the sitcom revealed he got the news first from Nayak’s son. He said, “I got the news first as his son called me at 5:45 pm. His condition failed to improve after his hospitalisation a few months back. He passed away today at 5:30 pm.” He added, “He was a gem and was closest to me. He tried his best to work again with us but his health did not permit. I am very saddened that he is gone.”

Ghanshyam Nayak was battling cancer. He passed away after a long valiant battle against cancer. The actor had even revealed his last wish, in an interview recently.
