The family entertainer show, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is television’s one of the longest-running shows today. The show is quite popular for teaching social ethics which is included in the hilarious plot of the show. However, the makers have landed in trouble in the row of using a dialogue, which stated that Hindi is the language of Mumbai. Soon, the makers had to issue an official apology.
It all began, with a dialogue from the show, which featured Amit Bhatt (who portrays the role of Babuji in the show), saying that the common language of Mumbai is Hindi, which is factually correct but prone to hurt local sentiments. The dialogue has not been received well by the show’s fans and the president of the cinema wing of MNS, Ameya Khopkar. And thus, he has demanded an apology from the makers of the show.
