Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Disha Vakani aka Dayaben to get replaced by Kajal Pisal?

Actor Disha Vakani and her return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has become a national issue for many years. Fans are eagerly waiting to know if she will be coming back as Dayaben in TMKOC. The actor took a maternity leave and had to leave the show midway. Since then, there has been no confirmation on when she will be resuming her role in the show. there were reports mentioning that Disha Vakani might get replaced by Aishwarya Sakhuja and Rakhi Vijan but there was no confirmation on the same.

Now, the latest report suggests that the makers of the show have found an actor who will be replacing Disha in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. According to a report in Bombay Times, Disha will be getting replaced by Kajal Pisal who will be gracing the show as the new Dayaben. The source revealed to the portal, “If Kajal gets finalised, she will have to start shooting tentatively from next month.” Since there has been no confirmation we wonder if Kajal will be replacing Disha Vakani as the new Dayaben.

Earlier, it was reported that Rakhi Vijan has been roped in for the role but she soon dismissed the rumour reports, clarifying that she hasn’t been approached by the show’s makers for the role.

The Hum Paanch actor shared a screenshot of a news article that read, “Rakhi Vijan to be seen as new Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.” She captioned it as, “Hello everyone… this news is a rumour… which shocks me… I haven’t been approached by the producers or the channel.”

Later, in an interview with ETimes, Rakhi addressed the reports and said, “I don’t know from where this rumours emanated… I thought this rumour would die down but it kept increasing.” When asked how she would play the iconic character if she is cast in the show, Rakhi said, “Comedy comes naturally to me. But of course, it will be challenging. However, it won’t be very difficult.”
