‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s first episode post lockdown kickstarts a hilarious meme fest

Owing to the Coronavirus scare, shootings of films and shows had come to a halt. Later when things improved the government issued SOPs and following it the makers of several popular shows kickstarted shoot. After a long wait, the longest-running and the most loved sit-com ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is back on television with new episodes post the lockdown. Yesterday (July 22) the show’s fresh episodes aired for the first time.

However much to the disappointment of it’s dedicated fans, the new episode failed to tickle their funny bones. The unimpressed fans took to the social media to express their disappointment and share their reaction on the latest episode. They even came up with some of the most hilarious memes.

Claiming how the new episodes lacked the quality to entertain, one user wrote, “I thought at least during the free time of lockdown the writer must did some good work… but this is same shit. #TMKOC I don’t know why @AsitKumarrModi thinks that Indian ppl have such low level of sense of humour(sic).”

Fans even compared how the old episodes were way better than the fresh ones. They expressed their views by sharing the following memes.
